Northside Elementary School joined thousands of schools across the country to participate in the Pennies for Patients Challenge Week. Students were encouraged to theme their clothing in conjunction with the coin of the day, like Pajama Penny Day, Neon Nickels Day, Dazzling Dimes Day, and Crazy Quarter Day. All proceeds go to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission to end cancer. Northside’s fundraiser culminated today— early estimates suggest that the students have raised nearly 6K!
