Kaylee Suwalski is a senior at Farmingdale High School. Her digital photograph won first place in the National Photography Contest sponsored by the Photographic Society of America (PSA). She was competing against many other high school students from across the country. This is an amazing achievement. Kaylee wrote an artistic statement to be included in the magazine she is going to be featured in:

“My artwork, Escape From Reality, aims to create an abstract world out of an ordinary structural space,” said Kaylee Suwalski. “This was a great opportunity to explore my ability to alter this architectural plane and transform it into something surreal. I would like to thank my teacher, Mrs. Steffen, for giving me the opportunity to create this artwork and for always supporting my ideas.”
