The Farmingdale High School’s Guidance Department organized a Volunteer Fair in the Commons of Farmingdale High School on November 20th. Students were invited to drop by during their lunch breaks to engage with representatives from various community service organizations.
Booths lined the Commons, each adorned with colorful banners and informative pamphlets highlighting the mission and impact of various local and national charities. Many students expressed excitement about the chance to contribute their time and skills to causes they were passionate about. The fair not only helped students find meaningful ways to give back but also sparked conversations about the importance of civic responsibility and the positive impact of volunteerism.
The Guidance Department was thrilled with the turnout and looks forward to hosting similar events, continuing to inspire and empower students to impact the world around them positively.
