Howitt Middle School's sixth grade came together to share projects they created that carry out the #dalerstrong message. These projects were inspired by Varsha Bajaj's novel, Count Me In, which all sixth graders read this year. In the story, a family experiences a tragedy. In response, their entire community comes together to show their support. When tragedy simultaneously struck Farmingdale on September 21st, we all saw real-life examples of how a community can come together in a time of crisis. The impact of kindness, love, and friendship is tremendous, and the students' projects carry that message.
