The Sports Night event was an exhilarating showcase of talent and teamwork, with fifth-graders from Farmingdale School District giving it their all. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as students from Albany Avenue, Northside, Saltzman East Memorial, and Woodward Parkway schools participated in various activities like Castle Ball and Relay Races. The evening wasn't just about competition; it celebrated sportsmanship and camaraderie, instilling important values in the young participants. With the guidance of Physical Education teachers and support from high school students of the Varsity Leaders Club, the event was a true testament to the power of teamwork. The night's highlight was the Dance Off, where families joined in for a spirited dance that brought everyone together. In the end, the GREEN team emerged victorious, showcasing their skills and unity in an unforgettable showdown. The Sports Night event was a true reflection of the district's commitment to promoting athletic prowess and the values of teamwork and sportsmanship among its students.
