The hallways of Albany Avenue Elementary School buzzed with excitement as students returned from the holiday recess for their first day back. Teachers and staff welcomed the students, ready to jump back into learning for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.
Fourth graders kicked off their return with a special cultural experience. The PTA organized an in-house Native American Journey assembly to bring history to life. Students participated in the interactive presentation, which highlighted indigenous traditions, storytelling, and culture.
It was an engaging way to combine social studies curriculum with a hands-on experience. The assembly provided a memorable start to the new year that sparked curiosity and conversation among the students.
