Emily Fortunato (Farmingdale High School Class of 2003) was one of four athletic trainers on the USA staff for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup that saw the United States take home their 4th championship this summer in France!

Ms. Fortunato was introduced to the profession of athletic training during her years on the girls lacrosse team at FHS. She took her love for sports and sports medicine to George Washington University, where she continued her lacrosse career and majored in athletic training. She went on to do her graduate work at George Mason University, where she got her first solo job with the women’s soccer team.

Way to go Lady Daler!
