The Farmingdale School District continues to offer half-day UPK classes. In 2024-2025, there will be two half-day classes at Woodward Parkway Elementary School. Recently, additional spaces became available.
We will hold a lottery this afternoon, June 18, 2024, after the Town Hall meeting for the ten half-day seats that have become available. ONLY THOSE WHO ENTERED THE ORIGINAL HALF-DAY LOTTERY ARE ELIGIBLE! You do not have to be present for your child to enter this lottery. The lottery and the UPK Town Hall meeting are being recorded and posted on the district webpage. In addition, the UPK Office will also contact families whose children were chosen at the half-day lottery.

Our UPK programs provide a free preschool experience made possible through grants from the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Please note that our UPK programs follow all New York State regulations, including the lottery process and New York State physical and immunization requirements.
