"Farmingdale High School digital photography students participated in both a local and national contest," said photography teacher Laura Steffen, "Despite the challenges my students have faced this year with hybrid learning and working remotely during the pandemic, they have still managed to achieve great success in these two photo contests. Locally, with PFLI (Photographic Federation of Long Island), they competed against 18 other high schools from Long Island. Next, all of the original entries were sent to PSA (Photographer's Society of America), where they competed against 85 other high schools from around the country! Farmingdale students won several awards again this year! I am very proud of their hard work."
