Farmingdale High School cross county runner Anthony Diaz qualified for the NYS Cross Country Championships by finishing third at the Class A NYS qualifiers on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
The championship race will be held in Plattsburgh, NY on Saturday November 16, 2019. Anthony currently holds the school record for the 5K at Bethpage State Park with a time of 16:14.
Anthony has also re-written the school records during his career at FHS; he holds the freshman, sophomore and junior records for both the 4k and 5k races.
