Dear Parents/Guardians:
On behalf of the administration and faculty of Farmingdale High School, I would like to invite you to our virtual “Incoming Freshman Parent Orientation Program” to be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, beginning at 7:00 p.m. This program will explain the course offerings available at the high school so that you can choose appropriate courses for your child’s freshman year. We hope to allow tours when visitors are able to return to our building.
The schedule for the evening under COVID-19 will be structured to provide a Zoom meeting for attendees. Building administration will begin the program in a live format and will be available to answer your questions.
There will also be a pre-recorded virtual program that will include information from the Directors of the core subjects for specific content when the live portion ends at 7:45 p.m. The links for these segments will be provided below on the same evening of this event.
Although the program on November 19th is designed primarily for parents, your children are free to join you. We will also have a student orientation program for incoming ninth grade students in the summer so that they can familiarize themselves with the building and its policies.
We look forward to seeing you on November 19th for this important academic event.
Sincerely,
Samuel M. Thompson, Ed.D.
Principal
