Yellow Zone Designation Information/Resources

Although our community has NOT been designated a “yellow zone,” we are taking these steps in anticipation of such a designation. Of course, we understand that it may be a very difficult decision to have your child be a part of this random sampling. However, if we are unable to meet the NYSDOH's 20% testing requirement for school districts in yellow zones, New York State will not permit our district to continue with in-person instruction.

Attached to this letter is a series of documents for your review.  It is vital, now more than ever, that the district maintain the highest level of transparency with all of our stakeholders. Please take the time to watch the video which provides a deeper understanding of what this process will look like in the event that we are designated a “yellow zone.”
