Communications and Engagement

The Farmingdale School District believes that open and transparent communication is critical to the support and success of our schools.

Our Communication and Engagement initiative utilizes a variety of tools to share information with students, parents, staff, and community members to ensure that information about what’s going on in the district is readily available. Every day, there are numerous events, achievements, performances, games, and classroom activities happening throughout our school building, and we want to share as many of these stories as possible with the entire Farmingdale community.

Throughout the year, the Communications Office submits press releases to local print and television media, makes requests for coverage, publishes stories on the district’s website, distributes the monthly e-newsletter Daler Digest, shares stories on all our social media platforms, mails issues of the Our Schools Newsletter to local residents, and engages the community in Thoughtexchange — a platform for community members to share their views and priorities.

Please see our Communications Office page for more information, as well as links to all our social media platforms.
