Howitt Middle School's 6th grade Jazz Band visited the Louis Armstrong House Museum in Corona, Queens on May 25th. They were treated to a guided tour of his home while recordings he made there played in the background. Items on display in the home included his famous bathrobe from a magazine article, handwritten letters he sent home during his tours, suitcases, and so much more. After leaving the Museum the Jazz Band made a quick stop for ices at the famous Lemon Ice King of Corona.
