Students at Farmingdale elementary schools created Valentine’s Day cards to share with members of our local Police and Fire Departments to thank them for keeping our community safe.

On Monday, February 14, police officers from the NCPD’s 7th and 8th precincts, SCPD’s 1st precinct, along with firefighters from the East Farmingdale, South Farmingdale, and North Massapequa Fire departments received hundreds of Valentine’s from students at Albany Avenue, Northside, Saltzman East Memorial, and Woodward Parkway.

Our local heroes work hard every day to keep our community safe, and what better day than Valentine’s to show them how much we love and appreciate all they do for us.
