The Child Lab is part of the curriculum for high school students interested in careers working with young children. Students practice early childhood education concepts, teaching techniques, and leadership skills under the supervision of Mrs. Ingenito. The Child Lab Preschool also provides Farmingdale residents (with preschool-age children) a quality school readiness and socialization program. The goal of the Child Lab Preschool is to provide a quality learning environment and memorable experience for both high school and preschool-age students. The preschool is located in the Family & Consumer Sciences Department at Farmingdale High School.
