On Friday, October 18, 2019, the varsity girls swim team defeated Oceanside, 57-44 to move their record to 8-0-1 and secure a share of the Nassau Conference II title. The team was seeded 6th out of eight teams in the conference in the preseason rankings, but defied those odds in capturing their third conference championship in the last five seasons.

Junior Samantha Commike (200 Free, 100 Free) and freshman Izabella Cimino (200 IM, 500 Free) were double winners for Farmingdale. Senior captain Shannon Danulevith won the 50 Free, and Junior captain Lauren Mehta captured the 1-meter Dive event, while Danulevith, Cimino, junior Taylor Spucces, and sophomore Malika Sodhi won the 200 Free Relay in the victory.

The girls had set the stage for their championship win with a 98-83 road victory over perennial swimming powerhouse Long Beach. It was the Lady Dalers' first win over the Mariners since 2003, and their first-ever win at Long Beach. The girls set the tone early when Cimino, Danulevith, Mehta, Sodhi, Spucces, senior captain Kristin Browne, and juniors Shannon Kelleher and Jordan Ohlenschlager took first and second in the 200 Medley Relay, the meet's opening event.

Farmingdale would go on to win the first seven events and eight of the total 12 events in the meet. Danulevith (50 Free, 100 Butterfly) and Cimino (200 IM, 100 Free) were double winners. The regular season comes to a close on Friday, October 25th when the Lady Dalers host North Shore on Senior Day at 5 p.m. A win in that meet will secure the second undefeated season in program history (1996). The team then kicks off the postseason at the Division Championships on October 28-29, and the County Championships on November 8-9.
