VIRTUAL COLLEGE ESSAY WORKSHOP FOR JUNIORS & FAMILIES: Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 
7 PM on Zoom 

Our guest speaker will address the Top Ten Mistakes Students Make on their College Application Essays again this year. This is offered to Juniors and their parent(s)/guardian(s) to discover the purpose of the essay and what admission officers are looking for. Recognize what not to do so you don’t waste valuable time.

The workshop will be offered on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., via the Zoom link below and all juniors and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend:

January 14, 2021 FHS Guidance Presentation: College Admissions Overview

This workshop is a preliminary overview of the college search and application process. This spring counselors will be meeting (virtually) with students to help them start the college search process. These meetings are designed to prepare a preliminary list of post secondary choices that will be discussed in the individual Junior College Meetings that you and your child are invited to attend starting March 15, 2021. In addition, we would like to share some resources (see below) that you may find helpful.
