ANNOUNCEMENT Lottery for Two Full-Day UPK Classes

Farmingdale Schools is pleased to announce our partnership with the YMCA of Long Island for two Full-Day UPK classes. Selection for this program will be made via a randomized lottery held on Monday, August 15th at 3:00 p.m. in the Howitt Middle School East Cafeteria. The lottery will be live-streamed and the parents/guardians of the UPK registrants are invited to attend the lottery and observe the process. Prior to the start of the lottery, we will review the process and answer questions to provide complete transparency. If you have questions prior to the lottery, please reach out to UPK@farmingdaleschools.org or call the UPK Office at 516-434-5799.

We received further information today from the Village of Farmingdale: They will be re-paving Grant Avenue, Cherry Street, and Van Cott Avenue, located by Howitt Middle School. Due to the construction, these roads will be closed intermittently for the week starting Monday, August 15th. Anyone coming to Howitt should enter through the Conklin Street entrance (located near the new Aquatic Center). We will have signs posted directing you to the Howitt East Cafeteria.
