Congratulations to Farmingdale High School's Science Bowl Team coached by Pete Macchia. The team placed FIRST at the Brookhaven National Lab competition on Saturday Jan 31.

The Farmingdale High School marching band was one of 45 bands showcased at the 47th annual Newsday Marching Band Festival on Long Island. Farmingdale has participated for more than 20 years. The festival was held at Hofstra University. It raises funds for the schools participating as well as funding a grant program for Hofstra music students. Click on the play button to watch the video.

REMINDER TO ALL JUNIORS - The Prom Parent/Student Meetings will be held on Thursday, February 4th and Monday, February 8th. If you want to attend the Prom, you and your parent must attend ONE OF THE MEETINGS!

It's not too late to sign up for the Fashion Show to be held on Saturday, March 6th. Place a note in the PTA mailbox in the Main Office with your name, cell phone number and email address and/or come to the next rehearsal on Friday, Feb. 12th at 7 p.m. in the Commons.

Co-op students must see their Co-op teacher on Monday, Feb. 8th.

Mural Club and Art Honor Society meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9th after school in Room 277.

9th Grade Student Council will be celebrating Valentine's Day the week of Feb. 8th outside the cafeteria during lunch periods. Buy a heart for $1 and get something sweet.

Interact Club is collecting old/broken eyeglasses, frames and loose lenses. They will be repaired and donated to the others less fortunate.
