About the Program

      The Howitt Middle School Library is dedicated to student achievement.  We teach information literacy skills and foster a life-long love of reading in students.  Through the acquisition and distribution of materials that align with the common core curriculum in all subjects, we provide an invaluable service to the faculty in their quest to meet the State’s challenging new standards.  In short, our goal is to provide materials and services to all students and staff that will ensure student achievement while maintaining an environment that nurtures the creative spirit and inspires the mind.
